@Kjeld hinted that it would be a good thing to reduce filesize by means of implementing gzip. Works automatically from now on if your browser supports it and reduces filesize up to 60%! Thanks @Kjeld!

ps. @advany & w3lab: shirts coming soon :)
From now on you can update your location through the regular status update field.
If you post L: your_location_here, Slandr will update your location-status instead of posting a regular tweet.
By the way: you can also check and update your location through the ‘settings’ or ‘geo’-menu itself.

Providers of the excellent realtime Twitter search engine seem to like Slandr ;) They are doing a great ( much greater) job themselves though. Carbon analyzing the complete Twitterworld.
Should you come by a regular computer (or iphone) these days, check out the regular http://slandr.net ‘s frontpage to find a link to ‘world coverage’; a google map plotted with all recent users’ hometowns. The direct link to the map is http://slandr.net/slandr_mobile_twitter_user_overview
You can now update your current location through the ‘settings’ or ‘geo’-menu.
Check and maybe even vote for Slandr here at KillerStartups!
